Departure

This afternoon, Jen and I leave for a 65 day journey across Europe in the dead of winter.
My mom passed away on October 4 and we are primarily travelling to have a ceremony for her in her home village and scatter her ashes.
We decided that it was time to take advantage of our time off in life and get on a train and see Europe.

We will be seeing friends all across Europe, from Amsterdam to Zurich to Padova to Como to Paris.

Bon Voyage, Jim and Jen! Hi, friends of J&J. This is Randy, the housesitter and food provider to the Mighty Dooter cat. Just took them to the airport. They were in high spirits and all systems are go. Jen even found her passport. =) Godspeed to you both. With fondest memories of Sally. Luv, Randy

Hi Jimmy, Jen & Scott,
I found your blog site. It sounds like you are having a great time. The weather here is rainy. It is really cold due to San Diego standards.
We had Christmas early due to Heather & Bill went to Ohio yesterday to have Christmas with his family. We got the best Christmas news Wed. night as Bill presented Heather with a gorgeous engagement ring. So how will get married 1st??? You guys or Heather & Bill.
Merry Christmas,
Love you ,
Cec & John
P.S. The St. Francis statue has a special place here in the garden. I see him every day and think of Sally.

Jimmy and Jen,
Thinking of both of you and Scott.
We had a beautiful day today the day before Christmas 73F and most likely as warm tomorrow. Maybe Christmas in our swimsuits!
It is wonderful you are enjoying your English family and learning all the lore of your heritage. We are sure Sally is smiling down on all of you!
We are getting ready for bed as Santa is coming soon to eat his cookies and drink his milk.
If you receive this message, we will try to call you tomorrow at Janet's.
We miss you all and love you,,,,
Merry Christmas,,,Love Dad and Andi
